Lake Julian Park
We went to Lake Julian Park for a walk that was promised, but when we were unable to find the trail, we decided to rent a paddle boat.
A father feeds the ducks, causing the ducks to swarm around his child.  Precious!

Sailboats in the lake.

Hard Times Trail
at the Arboretum off the Blue Ridge Parkway

Bob, the guide :), showing the rest of the pack a bit of greenery!

Bent Creek winds around the trail

Pretty yellow flowers

Lots of pines being hidden by the deciduous trees.
The last several days have been wonderful spending time with some spectacular people.  Having the opportunity to share the experiences of hikes, rain, and meals has been truly wonderful.
We continue to be shown God's great handiwork from His wonderful creation as well as through His beautiful people!
